Reduces mucus build up in lungs. Improves functionality of the respiratory system. Smoothes and reduces bronchial agitation associated with asthma. Boosts the immune system by promoting the production of T-cells.

Herbal tea including Astragalus, P. Ianceolata and Trifolium pratens. This tea is considered medicinal.

1 teaspoon to 250ml warm water and soak for 2 hours. Keep covered and simmer for 20 minutes. Keep covered while steeping and cooling to keep the micro oils from evaporating. Drink while still warm. In extreme cases of congestion, e.g. severe bronchitis, drink up to 5 cups per day and reduce to two cups a day as breathing become easier. A teaspoon of honey and wedge of lemon added makes a delicious hot beverage or iced tea.
